Burt Bacharach, who has been bringing classical music to the forefront since the early 1960s, never disappoints his fans with his incredible pop music hits. Originally from Kansas City, Missouri, Bacharach lends a little bit of the Midwestern appeal to a genre that is traditionally occupied by seemingly hoity toity city elites. Bacharach brings us all down to earth with his unrivaled skills on the piano and his many achievements as a world-class composer. Songs like "Story of My Life" and "These Magic Moments," both of which were collaborative efforts with lyricist David Hall, shot Bacharach to the top of the charts.

Burt Bacharach got his start in the early 1960s when he burst onto the scene with Hal David. The duo was responsible for many hit songs that would emerge from the '60s and '70s including the massively popular hits "Heavenly" and "Faithfully." Many of their songs have been covered by The Beatles, The Carpenters, Aretha Frankin and The Drifters. More recently, Bacharach also co-wrote and recorded an album with Elvis Costello that would eventually be a Grammy-winning record. Called, Painted From Memory, the record went on to become one of Bacharach's finest compositions. Other recent albums include Here I Am and At This Time.
