The raging quartet Does it Offend You, Yeah? have recently made their US debut complete with hard core electro groupies and a tour. The group's name came from the British's The Office - as the guys were putting up their MySpace page a character from the show said the line and instantly the group had a name. Does if Offend You, Yeah? members include Morgan Quaintance (live guitar, synth), James Rushent (vocals, bass), Dan Coop (synths) and Rob Bloomfield (drums) who all hail from Reading, Berkshire.

Often compared to !!!, LCD Soundsystem, Digitalism, and Justice, the group is known for their eccentric and rambunctious shows, which they claim comes from their love for Rage Against the Machine, well known rockers who also make a lasting impression on stage. The group's success came essentially overnight; after deciding to start a band, longtime friends Coop and Rushent created their debut single "Battle Royale" and within in a weekend had several more New Wave electronic singles that caught the attention of record labels.

The group signed with Virgin Records and released their debut album You Have No Idea What You're Getting Yourself Into in 2008. The boys began touring later that year with the NME Awards Tour. The last leg of the group's US stretch, at Los Angeles's infamous Troubadour venue, bassist Rushent broke his leg. While the band will continue touring with the Cribs, Rushent plans on sitting in a chair throughout Australia.
