Hawaii's teen heartthrob Glenn Medeiros illuminated the late ‘80s and ‘90s with hit songs including the number one smash single "She Ain't Worth It," proving his prominence in the dance-pop music industry and following up a slew of other Billboard favorites. The handsome young balladeer has experimented with funk and R&B styles of music, and his longevity in the music business has proven Medeiros' incredible amount of success and an even bigger following.

Medeiros grew up on the island of Kauai, born to parents of Portuguese origin and a father who ran tour buses for a living. His first starring vocal role was in an elementary school play, and by the age of 10 Medeiros was singing on his dad's tour bus, sometimes earning as much as $100 in tips in a day. The young Medeiros got his big break in 1982, thanks to his mentor Arnold Meister. He performed in several talent contests, and got mainland recognition when a DJ on vacation bought a copy of Medeiros' single "Nothing's Gonna Change My Love for You" and started spinning it on his radio station. The singles "Lonely Won't Leave Me Alone," "Nothing's Gonna Change My Love for You" and "Watching over You" were all Billboard hits in 1987, and the songs even propelled Medeiros into the ‘90s. 1990 brought about the most successful year in the crooner's career, largely in the shape of an untitled album. "She Ain't Worth It," a song featuring the legendary Bobby Brown, was an instant number one hit, and it kept the talented vocalist in the limelight as he continued to release albums throughout the ‘90s and even into the ‘00s.
