Don't let his name (or stature) fool you. Half Pint is one of the biggest, most talented artists in Reggae music. He was born Lindon Roberts in the same community of Jamaica were other reggae greats like Bob Marley, Peter Tosh and Dennis Brown were also from. His start in singing came via his school choir. After finishing school, Half Pint turned his attention strictly on his music career. He started touring around Jamaica and making a name for himself both for his voice and his stage presence.

By the time he released his first single, "Sally," in 1983, Half Pint had worked with some of the best producers in Reggae. He followed that single up with a slew of others and each showed more and more that Half Pint was here to stay. His songwriting skills were matched only by his vocal talent and the Rolling Stones took one of his songs, "Winsome," and recorded it as "Too Rude" in 1987. Sublime also recorded another one of his songs, "Loving," in 1996. He didn't rest after finding success on multiple continents and continued to be a part of successful tours around the world.

He reached a new level of success with he became the first reggae singer signed to the famous BMG Publishing Company in 1998. Even with his whirlwind touring schedule, Half Pint has found time to sporadically release full-length albums for his fans. He has released many successful albums in the last two decades including Victory, Pick Your Choice, Classics in Dub, Half Pint, Legal We Legal, Closer to You, No Stress Express and Greetings. For his efforts, he has won two International Reggae and World Music Awards and been honored in multiple cities throughout the world with keys to the city, "Half Pint Day" and more.
