I Can Make a Mess Like Nobody's Business is the side project of Arthur "Ace" Enders, who is the lead singer and guitarist of the Early Novembers. Anders has since embarked upon another solo project with an equally long title, Ace Enders and a Million Different People.

The quirky Enders created I Can Make a Mess Like Nobody's Business after nearly three years of touring with emo rock outfit the Early Novembers, who released one LP and three EPs during that time. When the Early Novembers disbanded, Enders made like any self-respected musician and launched a solo career with a complicated title. Although still indie rock, I Can Make a Mess Like Nobody's Business is more acoustic-based than Ender's previous band. Enders recorded his debut album under I Can Make a Mess Like Nobody's Business in record speed (just one month!); he wrote and recorded the album with the help of co-producer Chris Badami. Drive-Thru Records released Ender's eponymous debut in October 2004 and the indie rocker hit the pavement on tour the following year with the help of a few the Early Novembers' former members.

I Can Make a Mess Like Nobody's Business was shelved after Ender's tour when he decided to focus on the Early Novembers again and fans of I Can Make a Mess Like Nobody's Business are still waiting (most likely in vain) for a follow-up to the 2004 self-titled album. Luckily Enders continues to branch out solo from time to time, most recently in Ace Enders and a Million Different People. The New Jersey native also owns an indie record label, Regular Music, and released the debut album for Ace Enders and a Million Different People in 2008. The Secret Wars was issued for free download.
