Although her album was not as much of a success as her past work, Simpson's career was still hot with her A-list relationships and movie appearances. She was in The Dukes of Hazzard in 2005, Employee of the Month in 2006 and Blonde Ambition in 2007. She decided to go back to her upbringing in 2008 and released Do You Know in 2008. The album has more of a country feel and treats fans to a new sound from the blonde bombshell.
