Born to legendary singer Frank Sinatra, Nancy Sinatra had grand expectations laid out for her the day she entered the world. Growing up in the spotlight is never easy for children, but Nancy Sinatra always seemed ready to take on whatever tasks lay ahead of her. Her pleasant personality and strong will helped her make waves in show business from an early age. As a young child, she studied music, dancing and singing, and in 1960 she made her debut as a performer on a television special that was hosted by her father. Another special guest that same day was none other than Elvis Presley.

Sinatra went on to star in several movies before deciding that she really wanted to jumpstart her singing career. Frank Sinatra signed his daughter to his label, Reprise, and Nancy Sinatra wowed the critics with her debut hit single, "These Boots Are Made For Walkin'." Released in 1966, it gave the world more to look forward to from Ms. Sinatra. The song continued to be a smash hit in the years following and established Nancy Sinatra as the tough girl in the industry, presenting a sass and style that had not yet been seen before. She followed her first hit with other songs that made waves on the charts, some of those being, "How Does That Grab You," "Sugar Town" as well as the theme song to the James Bond movie You Only Live Twice.

Nancy Sinatra also collaborated with her father for the single "Somethin' Stupid," and her producer Lee Hazlewood on the tracks "Summer Wine," "Sand" and "Some Velvet Morning." Nancy Sinatra never seemed to veer far from that "bad girl" persona that won her the hearts of millions around the world. She went on to star in several movies, teaming up with notable actors like Peter Fonda and Elvis Presley. In her later years, Sinatra spent her time focused on her family and managing family matters for the Sinatra name. She has released a couple more albums and frequently appears at charity events and festivals.
