Hello Italian heartthrob, hello. Tiziano Ferro is an Italian pop singer who was born in 1980. He has gone on to create half a dozen albums in just as many years to give himself serious Latin American and European success.

Starting out in his local gospel choir, Ferro pushed himself to excel in both his vocals and percussion skills. Besides studying classical guitar, drums and piano, he also attended a school for dubbing and worked a few units as speaker for local radio stations. But Ferro didn't limit himself to music. After high school, he went to a university, studying both engineering for one year and the communication sciences.

It wasn't until the late ‘90s that Ferro decided to focus solely on music and entered the Sanremo Song Academy where competitions allowed artists to gain the attention they desired. His first year wasn't very successful, but in 1998 after making it to the finals, he gained the attention of producers Mara Majonchi and Alberto Salerno. As his music came together in a sound that is all his own, Ferro toured with Sottotono as a background vocalist, while the visionary talents of Michele Canova helped Ferro's visions and talent shape into reality.

In 2001 with the help of EMI, he released the single "Perdono." What followed is a long-winded career that spans a matter of only four years. "Perdono" eventually went double platinum in Italy and stayed at the number one spot on their charts for four consecutive weeks. That year, it ended in the third spot on the Music and Media Year End Chart, behind Eminem and Shakira. Rosso Relativo, released that year, went triple platinum in Italy and stayed in the Top Ten for seven months, seeing international success with a Spanish version.
