Mix tape king Tony Touch has been releasing Latin, R&B, hip-hop and reggae tunes and manning the tables at energetic live shows since 1991 but released his debut album, The Piece Maker in 2000.

A native of Puerto Rico, Tony Touch is based in Brooklyn, where he began as a B-boy in the early ‘80s and was greatly influenced by rap pioneers like Grandmaster Flash, Jam Master Jay, Crazy Legs and others. Touch, who is also known as Tony Toca, Von Bo Bo and Mr. Coco Tooso, has toured with artists like the Roots, Guru, Big Punisher and fellow Puerto Rican Fat Joe in addition to spinning at clubs in New York, Miami and Puerto Rico and producing songs for Cocoa Brovaz, Sunz of Man, Flipmode Squad and others. Touch won the annual Mixtape Award for Best Freestyles for two of his mixtapes, "50 Emcess Parts 1 &2."

Tony Touch signed to Tommy Boy is 1999 and one year later issued The Piece Maker. The album featured artists like Big Pun, the Wu-Tang Clan, Cypress Hill, Gang Starr, Eminem and more and spawned the hit single "I Wonder Why." In 2003 Touch released The Piece Maker, Vol. 2, which also boasted an impressive lineup of contributors such as Diddy, Sean Paul, Fat Joe, Snoop Dogg and Ruben Blades. Touch inked a record deal with EMI in 2005 and the major-label released his reggaeton album Reggae Tony, featuring the hit single "Play That Song," which went gold and was followed by a sequel (Reggae Tony 2) in 2007. Touch again managed to recruit industry heavyweights like the Beatnuts, Don Chezina, Tru Life, Lumidee, Plan B and others and is an ever-present force on the music scene, from spinning for Eminem to touring the globe.
