504Amber ZRunning a restaurant is more than just cooking meals and washing the dishes. Just ask Flo. It involves other tasks like seating the customers, taking orders, delivering food, accepting payment and busing the tables. In Diner Dash, Flo is ready to serve up orders with a smile once again and build her empire in the mobile version of the highly popular game.
As Flo, you are responsible for performing all day-to-day tasks involved in running the diner. This includes the duties mentioned above plus expansion of the diner. Diner Dash’s two modes are Endless and Career. In Endless, you simply keep serving customers until a certain number of them leave in anger. In Career, a certain amount of points must be reached each day in order to keep the restaurant open. Points will be earned by how quickly you attend to customers and keep the patrons moving in and out of the restaurant.
As the diner grows and more customers fill the restaurant, the daily shift gets more intense. This means managing time more efficiently, seating customers appropriately and purchasing improvements that will make the diner more efficient. The improvements include more seats, a coffee machine and even larger restaurants.
Flo moves to select areas and performs actions in the diner by pressing corresponding buttons on the keypad. They are all marked appropriately and easily identified. The customers will come in two colors that determine where they should be seated, for higher points, and can be clearly seen. Unfortunately, there is no sound available at all.
Diner Dash continues the manic pace that is available on the PC version and remains just as enjoyable. The addition of new items along the way keep the action fresh and challenging and should really please those fans that are eager to carry the game with them. If you have yet to experience Diner Dash’s easy premise but hectic game play, this is an excellent opportunity for you to do so.
