"Most fans remember rapper Akinyele for his controversial yet extremely popular song, ""Put it in Your Mouth,"" which was chalk full of sexually explicit lyrics. In fact, most of his material bordered on the side of crassness, a feature that helped provoke interest in this tough-talking rap master from Queens. He first landed on the music scene in 1993 when he recorded his debut album, Vagina Diner. The album was laced with sleazy lines and many controversial remarks about sex, but it became a hit with fans seeking artists who weren't afraid to rap beats about subjects often unspeakable in public.Vagina Diner featured the songs ""Worldwide,"" ""Checkmate"" and ""The Bomb."" The latter song would eventually become Akinyele's second-most well-known song, containing the lyrics, ""It's the bomb baby/The bomb, baby/With no ifs, no ands, no buts, and no maybes."" For young listeners, his style of rap was easy to sing along to, and his songs quickly established the emcee as a rhyming master serious about earning his rightful spot on the world music stage. After his debut album, Akinyele put forth another record called Bomb, which wasn't as popular as his first effort but still offered his signature, gritty and brash style of rap. After this second release, Akinyele moved to Zoo Records and also found a successful underground radio hit with the track, ""Put it In Your Mouth,"" which was the title track off of the EP of the same name. The recording is not short on blatant vulgarity and sexist remarks, but certainly appealed to a group of young, rap aficionados like his other songs ""Butt Naked,"" ""Take a Lick"" and ""Rather F*** You."""
