"Part of the musically inclined Winans family, BeBe and CeCe Winans followed in suit and together created some of the best and most popular gospel music of the ‘80s and ‘90s. The duo scored incredible success with the hit singles ""Heaven,"" ""Lost Without You,"" ""Addictive Love,"" ""If Anything Ever Happened to You"" and ""Stay With Me,"" and their accomplishments have forever solidified the Winans name in the history of contemporary gospel and R&B music.Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, Benjamin (BeBe) and Priscilla (CeCe) Winans grew up surrounded by music. Their four brothers Marvin, Carvin, Ronald and Michael made up the renowned gospel group the Winans, and other siblings and even their parents also dabbled in gospel music, as well. Feeding off each other's musical styles, BeBe and CeCe Winans crafted a contemporary gospel duo in the mid-1980s, stepping foot on scene in 1987 with their debut album BeBe & CeCe Winans. The hit single ""I.O.U. Me"" propelled the two vocalists into the limelight, and the album eventually brought them three Grammy nods and one Grammy Award. Heaven, BeBe and CeCe Winans' next album, was released in 1988 and contained the hit singles ""Lost without You,"" ""Heaven"" and ""Celebrate Life."" The album was the turning point for BeBe and CeCe, who saw their first Top Ten success on the charts with the release.After the late ‘80s, BeBe and CeCe Winans continued sauntering down the path of gospel bliss with the platinum-selling album Different Lifestyles, released in 1991. The album featured the crossover R&B hits ""Addictive Love"" and ""I'll Take You There,"" and it catapulted the duo into full-blown mainstream success. After the release of the monumental Different Lifestyles, BeBe and CeCe Winans enjoyed their full-blown success with following albums like 1993's First Christmas, 1994's Relationships and, most recently, 2008's Gospel Legacy."
