"DJ Sammy is Spain's best DJ and producer, and just recently created a sound that has reached a wider audience. The single ""Why"" reached the number one spot on Flaix FM Radio charts in 2005, as well as the UK and Australia charts. But it wasn't until 2001 that DJ Sammy saw his first worldwide breakthrough single, with ""Heaven,"" available for ringtone download on PlayPhone. The record sold over 2 million copies and came to the United States, making the second spot on the single charts. The single made the Adult Contemporary charts, peaking at 21, as well as the Hot Dance Music/Maxi-Singles Sales at number one.Since that 2002 Robbins Records release, he has seen more international success with his Ministry of Sound The Annual 2003 album, which peaked the Billboard Top Electronic Albums chart at 15, followed by his next album, The Annual 2003 America, released that same year under MCA, which reached the same status. The album demonstrates the pop and dance club appeal that DJ Sammy has been internationally known for for years."
