At the success of ""Ad un Amico,"" Ramazzotti attempted to break into the European market, winning the performers category with his single ""Adesso tu."" The Italian heartthrob became an overnight sensation, as his record label saw his international potential and began recording in both Spanish and Italian. He recorded his debut album and found overwhelming popularity as a young adult when he embarked on a nine month tour.
