Although neither was an original band member, Heart is now comprised of the sisters Nancy and Ann Wilson. The two grew up in Southern California, Taiwan and Seattle as the daughters of a Marine. They both went to college. Heart was created by Steve Fossen, Roger Fisher and Mike Fisher. The girls started relationships with the band members and eventually became part of the band. The first album, Dreamboat Annie, was released in 1975 in Canada and again in the U.S. It had hit songs like "Crazy on You" and "Magic Man" and went platinum. They switched labels and after a legal battle released Little Queen in 1977. It enjoyed similar success as their first album with the smash hit "Barracuda." Dog & Butterfly came next in 1978 and marked the beginning of many changes in the band's lineup. The sisters have remained as the two most important pieces of the puzzle. They released Bebe le Strange in 1980. Their next two albums, Private Audition and Passionworks didn't do as well as their first releases and they again switched labels. They released a self-titled album in 1985 with the singles "What About Love?," "Never," "These Dreams" and "Nothin' at All." Their next project, Bad Animals, hit stores in 1987 and had more great songs like "Alone," "Who Will You Run To" and "There's the Girl." Brigade came next in 1990 and had the incredible hit "All I Want to Do is Make Love to You" as well as "I Didn't Want to Need You" and "Stranded." They took some creative breaks before returning in 1993 with Desire Walks On and followed it up with The Road Home in 1995. Their more recent releases include Alive in Seattle, which was released in 2003, Jupiters Darling in 2004 and Love Alive in 2005.
