"Keith Murray's career has been checker-marked with troubles and run-ins with the law, however this rapper is still considered to be a force to be reckoned with. Early on, he engaged in an MC Battle with Big Daddy Kane, who is considered to be one of the greatest MCs ever - earning his respect even though he didn't defeat him. He first hooked up with Erick Sermon, and the two MCs formed the duo known of as EMPD. In 1994, they produced his debut single ""The Most Beautifullest Thing in This World,"" and the song became a hit that year.Double Or Nothing was his debut album, which was certified gold. The album reached number 35 on The Billboard 200 and number six on Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums. With it came the hit single ""Bomdigi"" which reached number nine on Hot Rap Singles and number five on Hot Dance Music/Maxi-Singles Sales. ""Welcome"" was also on that album, reaching number 12 on Hot Rap Singles.After Double, Murray released It's a Beautiful Thing on January 12, 1999, with the album peaking at number 39 on The Billboard 200 and number 9 on Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums. The album generated the single ""Incredible"" which entered the top 40 on Hot Rap Singles. He's Keith Murray was released on April 29, 2003 and peaked at number 11 on Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums as well as the top 40 on The Billboard 200. The chart single from that album was ""Yeah Yeah U Know It."" Rap-Murr-Phobia was released on July 31, 2007 and reached number two on Top Independent Albums and number seven on Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums. On April 22, 2008, Intellectual Violence hit stores as Murray's most recent installment."
