Whatever the "it" factor is, Lenny Kravitz has it. He has been wildly successful for almost two decades and continues to keep himself in the headlines. Kravitz was born on May 26, 1964 in New York. He is the son of The Jeffersons actress Roxie Roker and Sy Kravitz, a Jewish producer. His family moved to California before Kravitz reached his teens. Even today, his influences both from the East and West coasts can be seen and heard in his music and style.His parents encouraged his musical dreams, and by the time Kravitz graduated from high school, he was ready to make a name for himself.
