Challenging the biggest and toughest of rappers for platinum records and Billboard hits, Lil' Romeo has proved his innate talent and passion for rapping, cashing in on his good-natured rhymes and rhythms to become a standout in the music industry.The son of Southern rapper and hip-hop mogul Master P, Lil' Romeo (born Percy Romeo Miller, Jr.) was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, demonstrating his knack for everything hip-hop from his youth. Indubitably influenced by his father, Lil' Romeo made his debut on the music scene at age 11, releasing the number one charting R&B/rap hit ""My Baby"" in 2001. The single shot straight up the Billboard charts, proving (alongside Lil' Bow Wow) that the hip-hop market for clean-rhyming preteen talent was hot. Helped out by his father Master P and his No Limit Records label, Romeo was further propelled along the music scene thanks to his uncles (and well-known rappers) Silkk the Shocker and C-Murder. Lil' Romeo, Romeo's self-titled debut album, was released in 2001, and despite the downfall of No Limit Records the album was a smash success, going platinum in no time. Gametime, Lil' Romeo's follow-up release in 2002, outsold Lil' Romeo, and as the young rapper's name was on the rise his music seemed to follow. 2004's Romeoland saw only a fraction of the success of Romeo's previous albums, however, and by 2006's Greatest Hits release the hip-hop prince was looking for other outlets. He eventually established himself as an actor on Nickelodeon, also releasing 2006's Lottery and God's Gift as Internet-only albums, followed by collaborations with his father (Hip Hop History) and cousins Lil' D and C-Los Young Ballers- The Hood Been Good to Us) under the monikers the Miller Boyz and Rich Boyz, respectively."
