Unless you have been sequestered on a deserted island for the last decade, you are familiar with actress and singer Lindsay Lohan. Lohan was set to be a star from the beginning as she was beautiful enough at the age of three to be signed to Ford Modeling Agency. As a child, she starred in dozens of commercials from Wendy's to Jell-O. She got her first break in acting in 1996 when she was cast in the soap opera Another World to play the role of Alexandra Fowler. That role paved the way for Lohan to be cast in the Disney remake of The Parent Trap in 1998 where Lohan played twins. The success of the film led to a contract to make three more films with Disney. She followed the success of The Parent Trap by costarring with Tyra Banks in Life Size. She was briefly on Bette Midler's sitcom before starring in Disney's Get a Clue in 2002. It was after this release that Lohan started turning some of her attention toward music, but her acting career continued. She appeared with Jamie Lee Curtis in Freaky Friday in 2003 followed by the flop Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen in 2004.Lohan bounced back in a big way later in 2004 by starring in the massively successful Mean Girls as well as dropping her first album Speak. Her debut release climbed all the way to number four on the Billboard 200 and showed she had more talent than just acting. She released her sophomore album, A Little More Personal (Raw) in 2005, which reached number 20 on the Billboard 200. She continued her movie career and switched record companies. There is talk that Lohan's next album will be coming out soon, much to fans' delight.
