"Los Caminantes have been a rock in the music industry despite the ever-changing lineup they have endured through the years, and not even tragedies like deaths of band members have kept this Latin Tejano group down for long. The original Guanajuato, Mexico Latin pop group has lit up the Latin and Mexico regional charts with hits like ""He Sabido"" and ""Porque Tengo Tu Amor,"" earning several number ones for albums and singles spanning close to three decades long.Los Caminantes originated as a family enterprise, consisting of brothers Agustín, Horacio, Brígido and Martín Ramirez and joined by Humberto Navarro. The original Los Caminantes got their start in Mexico's Guanajuato, releasing their first of many, many albums in 1983 titled Supe Perder. From the very beginning, Los Caminantes were a huge deal in Mexico, and by the 1986 the group had posted their first number one, ""De Guanajuato Para,"" on the charts. Singles like ""Cuando Dos Almas"" and ""Ven y Abrazame"" continued Los Caminantes' winning streak, but the group's first change in lineup came in 1986 when Brígido Ramirez was replaced by Mario Sotelo for a time. Another switch in lineup came in the mid-‘80s when tragedy struck Martín Ramirez and he was killed in an accident. The surviving members of the band, however, made a tribute album titled Gracias Martín in 1987, keeping their fan base and spirits both high in the wake of their significant loss.Despite losing one valuable person and band member (and brother, to some) Los Caminantes continued to muddle through the ‘90s and ‘00s, releasing Billboard hits like ""Solo Los Tontos,"" ""Dos Cartas y Una Flor,"" ""Lagrimas Al Recordar,"" ""El Dinero"" and more, taking their lively act on the road in a series of tours and live performances that have continued up through 2008."
