"When you are looking for some incredibly addictive Latin rock tunes, you might want to check out the Latin rock superstars Mana. With their rousing and reflective lyrics coupled with their fiery sounds on the stage, Mana ignites a passion in fans nearly unmatched by other Latin rock bands on the scene today. The group initially formed in 1986 in the Mexican city of Guadalajara and was comprised of Fher Olvero, Ulises Calleros, Juan Diego Calleros and Alex Gonzalez. The collective of musicians brought a whole new energy to the stage and to the recording studio, redefining the sound of Latin rock and generating more fans from around the world.Mana's debut album, Falta Amor, hit the shelves in 1992 and initially did not strike a chord with the public. It did, however, successfully establish them as a noteworthy act during the early 1990s, and it certainly put them on music charts around the world. Some of their memorable singles from the album include ""Refrigerador"" and ""Rayando el Sol."" Mana followed up their first effort with another record in 1994, this one called Donde Jugaran los Ninos? This was the ticket to success for Mana, propelling them full speed into the Latin rock industry. Some of the hit songs that really stand out to fans are ""Vivir sin Aire,"" a beautiful melody with an extremely gentle performance. Another great song is ""Oye Mi Amor,"" which is filled with stark emotions that just pull at your heartstrings. In the 1990s, Mana made headlines with the album, En Vivo, which showed the true energy of a live show. Suenos Liquidos also made headlines, helping the band achieve star power predominately in the United States. In addition, they made a lauded performance on Carlos Santana's hit record Supernatural. In 2002, they were aptly awarded for their years of work with a Grammy award for Best Latin Rock/Alternative Album for Revolucion de Amor. The members of Mana had achieved remarkable success far outside just the borders of Mexico, striking a chord with fans around the world."
