"Omarion developed an interest in music at a young age while growing up in a large family in Los Angeles, CA. He got his big break at 14 when he joined the group B2K. B2K experienced incredible popularity during the early part of the 2000s, but the band abruptly broke up in 2004 after appearing in the dancing movie You Got Served.Omarion continued to pursue a career in music as a solo artist. Drawing on many of the things that made B2K popular, Omarion released his debut single ""Never Gonna Let You Go (She's a Keepa),"" which featured Big Boi, in 2004. That same year he took advantage of several acting opportunities as well, solidifying himself as a double threat artist. 2005 saw the release of his debut album, O. While holding true stylistically to his B2K roots, Omarion departed from the teenage image that the group sported and O came equipped with much more risqué themes and lyrics. The record may have caused Omarion to lose some of his younger fan base, but it did enable him to break away from his B2K persona a bit and establish his own identity in the public eye.The following year, Omarion dropped his sophomore effort, 21. As a true adult, as the album title implies, Omarion treats this record as a defining work in his career and views it as a sort of coming-of-age effort. 21 was received well by critics, who saw significant improvement from his debut in pretty much all facets of the disc. With some great collaborative efforts on the album with the likes of Pharrell Williams and more songwriting input, Omarion makes it clear that he's going to be successful post-B2K. This versatile talent is sure to expand his horizons and continue to impress fans of both music and film."
