His mother was a renowned painter and Sean was able to take full advantage of the growing up experience, excelling in both music and sports. His ability to cross over barriers has kept him in very good stead; he has created music that is not only well-loved by the dance hall crowd, but can cross over barriers into the mainstream. His most popular songs required no remix in order to become pop hits.As a representative of Jamaica to the outside world, Sean Paul has appeared on multiple television programs worldwide.
