"The late 1990s and early 2000s saw many teen pop groups, and although it may be tempting to lump the U.K. group Sugababes into that category, they have proven that they have more to offer than many of the others from this time period. The original multi-ethnic lineup featured Siobhan Donaghy, Keisha Buchanan and Mutya Buena. The group came together while still in their teens, with Buena and Buchanan knowing each other even earlier. They didn't seem to have very lofty goals at the beginning and were instead just content to sing together. Fate had another plan and they had a recording contract by 2000.They released their debut album in 2000 called One Touch. Soon after, Donaghy departed and was replaced by Heidi Range, formerly of Atomic Kitten. Their follow up, Angels with Dirty Faces, dropped in 2002 and featured a cover of ""Freak Like Me,"" which shot to the top of the charts in the U.K. They released Three the next year, which continued their success in the U.K. and introduced them to new fans in the United States. The album reached the top five of the U.K. charts and one of the singles from the album, ""Hole in the Head,"" climbed the U.S. charts as well.Next came Taller in More Ways in 2005, which was even more successful, reaching number one on the U.K. charts. That release also marked the departure of Buena, who was replaced by Amelle Berrabah. Taller in More Ways was rereleased with Berrabah's vocals on some of the tracks. They released Overloaded, The Singles Collection in 2006, which kept fans' attention on the group, before releasing their fifth studio album in 2007 entitled Change. Change marked another success for the group with the single ""About You Now"" reaching number one on the U.K. charts."
