"Teddy Geiger never was the average teenager. With a wise-beyond-his-years sort of quality, the young man has parlayed his multiple talents into a career that spans across several media outlets. Geiger taught himself to play music and had already written original material by the age of eight. After gaining initial attention as a finalist on the VH1 television show In Search of the New Partridge Family, Geiger landed a role on the CBS program Love Monkey, on which he played a songwriting prodigy to whom a multitude of parallels could be drawn between the character and Geiger's true persona.Though the series was short-lived, it did set the stage for Geiger to team up with producer Billy Mann and eventually resulted in a deal with Columbia records. In 2006, Geiger cut his debut, Underage Thinking. The album title spoke volumes about Geiger's personality and his aforementioned old soul. Though the exposure he received on both television shows was not much of a launching pad, the music did most of the work. Underage Thinking broke into the top 10 on the Top Internet Albums chart and the all-inclusive Billboard 200. Propelled by the individual success of songs like ""For You I Will (Confidence)"" and ""These Walls,"" Geiger received substantial praise for his debut. His good looks and boyish charm didn't hurt sales by any means, but the maturity and sincerity displayed on the record went a long way in gaining fans. While many people would assume a record from a seventeen-year-old would be geared almost exclusively for teenage girls, that was not the case with Underage Thinking, as it hit home with the adult contemporary audience more than any other. Geiger has made himself an artist to keep an eye on and the promise he's shown will make for a solid musical career even if only half of it is fulfilled."
