The Lost Trailers

The Lost Trailers Biography

The Lost Trailers bring the best of everything country right to your door. Their story is a true southern tale, beginning with two boys in a church band who started making records. With their high-school friends they formed a band of five members. They got their name because their trailer has actually been stolen three times, which must be some kind of record. As the boys made their way through high school, one of their demo tapes found itself in the hands of music legend Willie Nelson. The musician invited them to come and play at his annual Fourth of July Picnic, and the band had their first big break.Following the succession of trailer incidents, the band finally reached Austin, Texas, where they debuted in front of 15,000 Willie Nelson fans. They were such a success that Willie told the boys to open for him at some more concerts. With the help of Willie Nelson, the band had started out and were quickly moving towards their goal of creating music that was unlike anyone else's. They were making great country rock, being headhunted by some great labels and were creating a sound that people loved to hear.On April 20, 2004 they released their debut record Welcome to the Woods, which was a great introduction to the band. Following that, producer Blake Chancey heard their concert in Fort Worth, Texas, and decided that he wanted to produce their next album. Not long after, on April 29, 2006, the group released their eponymous fourth album. The chief songwriter for the band is Stokes Nielson who is a master at writing the lyrically honest and down-to-earth country sound that has made the band a hit all the way around the town.

"The Lost Trailers are a group of down-home boys whose music is inspired by their church backgrounds and their country upbringing. Their lyrics are pure southern rock, but don't go making the mistake of thinking that they're just like any other band! These boys have their own sound and their not afraid to use it. So watch out for their honesty. Their song ""Why Me""is currently available as a cell phone ringtone from Playphone.com and would make a great addition to your cell phone ringtone. The song is about the harder side of life and the difficulties that come from this hard-working world.""Why Me"" contains the chorus that shows both the guys honesty and their background. The lyrics to the chorus change several times throughout the song ending with ""Praying why me, oh why me/Knowing all the while he had to carry that cross and hanging there/When I say why me, oh me/I know that somewhere up in heaven there's a big old book with my name there/So I walk on, I rock on."" The song is definitely a good strong sound that will give you something to look forward to every time your phone rings."
